LONDON , October 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — International Game Technology PLC (NYSE: IGT) today announced that its subsidiary IGT Canada Solutions ULC (`IGT`) has signed a contract extension with the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (“WCLC”) to update WCLC`s video lottery system and continue its role as a central systems provider for the next seven years. IGT will provide the latest version of its INTELLIGEN™ system software that supports the volume, complexity and security of monitoring of WCLC`s 4200 video lottery terminals (“VLTs”) in Saskatchewan. The extension is scheduled for September 1, 2021 or before September 1, 2021. As part of the expansion, IGT will equip WCLC`s central video lottery system with sophisticated modules that improve network diagnosis and stability. IGT`s INTELLIGEN systems are used worldwide and connect a wide range of VLTs in a variety of gaming environments. The software is based on more than 25 years of core system experience and offers stable and secure control and control functions.
